Shogam Hermitage Project

A piece of land was donated to Traleg Rinpoche in Crestone, Colorado. Rinpoche gave this land to E-Vam and left plans to develop this site into a retreat centre and he has named it ‘Shogam Hermitage’.

We encourage you to donate to this extremely important project.

Phase One: Retreat

In the first phase we will be constructing a meditation room, self-contained rooms for individual and group retreat accommodation, kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Phase Two: The Gompa

Traleg Rinpoche left sketches of a traditional style temple for the site. Phase two will extend the Temple to include the main meditation hall, library and special accommodation for visiting teachers.

Phase Three: The Stupa

In phase three a commemoration stupa for Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche the 9th will be constructed.
